Considerations before starting ANY running or exercise program:

  • We recommend that you can comfortably handle 45-60 minutes of brisk walking before progressing to running.
  • If you are dealing with an injury, addressing this prior to starting a running program will greatly improve your success rate and overall experience. If you are unsure of how to proceed with this, consider a strength or physical therapy consultation with us as your first step.
  • Just as with any change in exercise or activity level, if you have a relevant medical condition that may impact your ability to participate or is a concern, always take the time to consult with your medical provider prior to starting.
